Up to $6,000

Grants, Stipends, Scholarships

$6,000 – South Carolina Teaching Fellows
Receive up to $6,000 per year for four years in forgivable student loans while you complete coursework that leads to your teaching license. When you're a freshman in the program, you'll live in the Teaching Fellows Living Learning Community, which will provide additional support and help you build relationships outside of the academic environment. You'll also be able to attend seminars, professional development, service-learning opportunities, advocacy experiences, field trips and social gatherings. Learn more.

Call Me MISTER

Call Me MISTER offers mentorship, assistance with finding a job, and financial support through loan forgiveness.

South Carolina & National Teacher Loan and Forgiveness

The South Carolina Teacher Loan and Forgiveness programs can pay off your student loans when you teach. IF you teach in a high-needs field, you may be eligible for loan forgiveness from the U.S. Department of Education. Learn more about the South Carolina programs and the Federal TEACH Grant.
